What effwct will doubling the hydrogen peroxide have on the rate of reaction?

Under the conditions of this experiment, hydriodic acid is oxidised by hydrogen peroxide to give iodine (brown) and water. The presence of a starch indicator causes the solution to turn blue as soon as the iodine forms. The reaction mixture also contains sodium thiosulphate which reacts with the iodine as soon as it is formed and reduces it to form iodide (colourless).
