What "brink" did Geihtner steer the American economy back from? The "brink" of recovery?

It was initially Paulson under Pres. Bosch who started the bail outs first. Geithner just expanded it and helped out his friends on Wall Street. (Paulson had Wall street friends as well). They should have allowed more banks and investment gamblers to go bankrupt but what the hell, it wasn't their money; it was mine and yours. They should have allowed GM to go under and all derivative gamblers as well. This is why we have bankruptcy courts. The vacuum created would have been filled by other companies that were financially viable to buy the good hard ets and accounts. But when Paulsen and Geithner leave, they need jobs--HE WHO HAS OR CONTROLS THE GOLD MAKES THE RULES (you know the golden rule).
