Please help me with this! idk what to do!?

theres this guy named chis and a few weeks ago i told him i liked him but i still only want to be friends and thats it because were going to camp together for a month. but after i told him i liked him we havent been talking as much anymore and hes kinda being mean to me now and i cant tell if hes just joking around or not can someone pleae give me advise on what to do with him!
